Located in Mianyang, Sichuan Province, Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST), Founded in 1952, Southwest University of Science and Technology is a university jointly built by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, the Ministry of Education of China, and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. It is also among the 14 key universities in western China designated by the Ministry of Education for priority development.
